Hi there. I'm Eclipse.
I program, cycle, hike, listen to music, and more.
I'm interested in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science. I'm a native speaker of Dutch
and I do alright at English.
I'm aroace, queer, and a bunch of other stuff. I do a lot of things, but it also takes me a while
to get to all of them.
I love Minecraft, create Minecraft mods, and work on GeyserMC, an open source project to allow
bedrock players to join Java servers.
I'm currently in college learning about computer networks and embedded systems.

Programming
I'm fluent in Java and Python, and do pretty decent at C or C++. I have also coded in PHP and GLSL in the past,
as well as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
I code Minecraft mods and other things, and publish some of my projects on my GitHub page.
Note though that I don't publish all of my projects on GitHub, and I have a lot more projects locally.
I also publish Minecraft mods on Modrinth. Unfortunately I have been running out of time a
lot lately, so there's less on there than I would have liked. Nevertheless, I still try to publish what I can.
Computer setup
I use Linux and am a huge fan of FOSS.
I have used distros like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Lubuntu, Debian, Xubuntu, and Alpine Linux in the
past, though I have stopped distro-hopping and settled on Arch Linux as my daily driver.
I use Wayland as my display server, with KDE Plasma as my desktop environment and SDDM as my display
manager. I use Firefox to browse the internet with uBlock origin.
To program I mostly use IDEs provided by JetBrains. When editing photos I use GIMP.
I use Prism launcher to play Minecraft.
Music
I listen to music a lot. My main playlist has close to 400 songs and is over 30 hours long.
Additionally, I have a secondary playlist which I listen less often to. It consists of over 100 songs and is over 7 hours long.
I listen to music from Queen, Dire Straits, The Police, U2, Nirvana, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, ABBA, Supertramp, The Beatles, Billy Joel, FLeetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, The Cranberries, Deep Purple, and a lot more.
I'm always open to music recommendations and will gladly accept any given to me.
